TRON Group acquires American Crypto Systems
The investment wing of TRON Group acquired the mining operation in Idaho as they look to upgrade the facility and increase its capacity
Tron Group announced on Tuesday that they have acquired American Crypto Systems, a crypto mining operation based in the Boise Valley, Idaho. They plan to grow the facility and invest in its capacity for operation. Apart from their mining capabilities, the newly acquired company has a team of data scientists that work hard to develop technologies in a variety of fields. These include blockchain data mining, distributed computing, distributed database management, and the detection of mining pool management failure.
Tron Group management is looking to continue this research in the hope that this will open new revenue markets in fields such as more efficient and profitable hosting services for other crypto-mining companies, offering encrypted digital safe boxes for digital wallets, and digital bookkeeping services and the licensing thereof for the mining of virtual currencies.
Located in the northwest of the US bordering Canada, the region provides agreeable climate conditions, accessible and relatively cheap power sources, low regulation, and tax advantages. The Idaho facility has 6,000 square feet of warehouse space; American Crypto Mining currently runs 200 machines and seeks to quickly move to maximize the current capacity of up to 500 mining rigs.
