Coins.ph, XD Academy to introduce global Bitcoin course to Filipinos
In a bid to elevate crypto literacy and accessibility in the Philippines, Philippine-based cryptocurrency exchange Coins.ph and Web3 education platform XD Academy announced their partnership aiming to revolutionize the way Filipinos learn about Bitcoin and digital assets.
Empowering Filipinos with crypto education
Recognizing the increasing demand for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies following the recent Bitcoin Halving, Coins.ph CEO Wei Zhou emphasizes the importance of providing users with top-tier education to navigate the evolving crypto market effectively.

In a press release, Coins.ph said that at the heart of this initiative lies a comprehensive exploration into the Economics of Bitcoin, led by Saifedean Ammous, the acclaimed author of The Bitcoin Standard. The introductory course will delve into the history of money, the unique properties of Bitcoin, and its potential impact on the future of financial systems.
“As the author of the best-selling book The Bitcoin Standard, Saifedean Ammous has probably educated more people about Bitcoin than anyone alive,” said Lawrence Linker, CEO of XD Academy. “We are very pleased to have him as an instructor for this introductory course on the economics underpinning Bitcoin.”

By May, the Economics of Bitcoin course will be available to all 18 million Coins.ph users, marking a significant milestone in making high-quality cryptocurrency education accessible to every Filipino. The curriculum is designed to cater to learners of all ages and backgrounds, ensuring that everyone can participate in the crypto revolution.
