Formula 1 has secured a multimillion sponsorship deal with the digital asset trading platform

While details on the terms are yet to be disclosed, it was announced on Tuesday that Crypto.com and Formula 1 have signed a sponsorship agreement of $100 million through the mediator Creative Artists Agency, with a run time of five years.

Crypto.com will therefore gain visibility in Formula 1 races across the globe, including the new Sprint series. Trackside slots will feature the brand starting July 17 for all F1 races. The company will also introduce a new Belgian Grand Prix award in August as NFT partner, suggesting a wide-range promotion of NFT technology.

The deal marks a continuation of sport sponsorship deals signed by the crypto exchange, as they already maintain a partnership with the F1 team Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One, which celebrated their racing comeback with NFTs. Apart from racing, they also sponsor the Montreal Canadiens in NHL, as well as the Italian football league Lega Serie A.
