Given the complexity and scale of the event, it would be good to equip our delegates with a handy guide to some of the most frequent issues that our visitors may come across. This AIBC article goes through a spectrum of common occurrences, from logistics to restrictions to even the potential for sponsorships and marketing. We even added in some handy notes on where to find those lovely pictures and videos of you taken during the event.

Top 10 things you need to know for the AIBC Summit

10.) Where and when will the AIBC Americas 2022 expo be held?

This year’s AIBC Summit will take place at one of Toronto’s biggest venues – the Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place on the 7th and 8th of June, 2022. Both the expo and the conferences will take place in the same venue.

9.) How can I get to the expo?

Before arriving in Canada you must download the ArriveCAN app to provide mandatory travel information prior to entry. All international travelers will also need to apply for an eTA visa. You can find any travel and tourism updates here. Free shuttle buses will be available throughout the day to take delegates from our selected hotels to the exhibition center and back. Pickup is every 20-30 min, running from 8:30 AM till 6:00 PM.

Alternatively you can get to the Enercare Centre by Bus, Subway, Streetcar or Train. These are the lines and routes that have stops nearby:

Bus: 29, 63, 72, 80, 929
Train: LW
Subway: 1
Streetcar: The 509 runs along the harbourfront and stops right across from the Enercare Centre.

8.) How can I collect my badge?

Badges can be collected on the 6th at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel or from the Enercare Center expo registration desk at any point during the summit.

All you need to bring is a copy of your ticket or confirmation on your phone.

7.) How can I benefit from sponsorship opportunities during the event?

6.) Are there any Covid-19 restrictions I need to be aware of?

Covid restrictions have been lifted in Toronto, however, masks are still required on all TTC/public transportation, although optional with Uber and Lyft. For the most up-to-date information please visit the official government site for travel.

5.) Where will the networking dinners be held?

AIBC Networking dinners will all be located at venues in Downtown Toronto – all within walking distance of our selected hotels. Dinners are by invite only. If you have a dinner included in your ticket and did not receive an invitation please reach out to the customer care service on our website. You will need to RSVP to the invite to ensure your place on the guest list.

4.) Where are the pre-registration networking drinks taking place?

We’re holding this pre-summit icebreaker at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel on the 6th of June for delegates. Entrance to this AIBC networking event is free to all attendees. Registration desks will also be open for delegates keen to beat the queues and pick up their badges early.

3.) Where will the Gala Awards be held?

The AIBC Awards will be held at the iconic venue of El Mocambo on the 7th of June. The SiGMA Awards will be held on the 8th of June at legendary nightclub, Rebel.

2.) How do I attend the cultural tour?

The cultural tour is a sign up only event for premium and platinum ticket holders only – we recommend you book early to avoid disappointment as places are limited.

1.) How can I stay up to date with all the latest information related to the event?

You will receive an email explaining how you may download our Whova app. If you did receive this, please reach out to customer service for a link. The app will contain all the most recent event info, a full agenda and floor plan, as well as networking opportunities for connecting with attendees, speakers, and sponsors.
