Emerging tech summit to facilitate new business in the region

SiGMA Group, the events company behind the Manila AIBC Summit, has announced the format for the event and what makes it stand out from the crowd. After three hugely successful AIBC Summits in Malta, Europe, the company has set its sights on the Asian market aiming to shape the future of emerging tech in the region and seed new opportunities for both local and Western companies.

The inaugural Manila AIBC Summit will take place May 27th-28th 2021, bringing together key brands from the west and key players in the Asian markets to explore new opportunities and establish relationships.  It’s an event to join up the global sectors of AI, blockchain, IoT, Quantum Tech, and other emerging technologies to join the conversation and shape the future.

Combining an expo floor for world-class exhibitors, a start-up village for innovation, and a hugely popular conference agenda, the Manila AIBC Summit runs alongside the SiGMA Manila event, creating more opportunities for synergy between the complementary sectors of iGaming and blockchain.

With the usual selection of leading speakers lined up to inspire the audience with their unique experience and insights, the conference stage will address all the latest developments in AI, blockchain, Internet of Things, Big Data, Quantum Technology and FinTech.  Past AIBC editions have seen world-class speakers Akon (grammy-award winning artist and social impact leader), Winklevoss brothers, John McAfee, Sophia the World’s first robot citizen, Tim Draper, Anthony Pompliano and many more.

Eman Pulis, founder and CEO of SiGMA, commented, “We are impressed by the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit in South-East Asia, specifically in Manila and the Philippines. Which is why we believe that ICE, SiGMA and AIBC – Asia – should be held in Manila. I look forward to the first edition this coming May 2021 with excitement. The feedback from our previous attendees in Europe has been overwhelming.”

This year, Asia-focused start-ups will also reap the benefits at the first inception of the AIBC Startup pitch. Over 100 companies from the tech industry will be selected to showcase their products and initiatives throughout the event. The competition keeps getting fiercer as only the best 10, as decided by an independent panel of judges will make it through to the Pitch during the final leg of the Summit. The importance of having smart home systems and the rise of the blockchain network. Taking part guarantees valuable insights and critical feedback from the judges, although the prize package will give just one lucky start-up a massive head start when it comes to expanding their business plans.

Apart from that, the Phil-Asia Gaming Awards will also be held during the first edition of AIBC Manila. Alongside premier networking opportunities, the plush event brings together luminaries in the industry for an evening of recognition and celebration of achievement, attracting a guest list of over 600 esteemed individuals to its inaugural debut.
