Swiss FinTech Association has joined AIBC as an ecosystem partner ahead of AIBC World in Rome, taking place at Fiera Roma from 02 to 05 November 2026.
The association works across the Swiss financial and technology sectors, bringing together people from startups, established financial companies, investment, academia and public policy. It is independent and non-profit, with much of its activity built around events, research, mentoring and regulatory advocacy.
The partnership will also be featured in the first edition of AIBC Magazine, published in conjunction with the Rome event.
Swiss FinTech Association was born in 2024. The Swiss Fintech Association and Swiss Finance + Technology Association approved a merger on 18 December that year, combining the former’s advocacy work with an organisation that had developed regional chapters and an international network of fintech associations. The merged organisation retained the Swiss FinTech Association name.
Regulation remains a visible part of its work. Its Advocacy Committee acts as a point of contact for regulators and policymakers and provides non-binding strategic advice on regulatory matters. Public and private roundtables are among the formats it uses to bring different sides of the Swiss fintech sector into the same discussion.
That work covers a fairly wide technical range. Blockchain and artificial intelligence both sit among the technology areas represented on the association’s platform, alongside payments, APIs, cloud technology and data. Recent material published by SFTA has included a May 2026 examination of AI in risk management for Swiss finance and work on regulation in the crypto industry.
AIBC World will bring many of those subjects into the same venue in November. Its Rome programme covers digital assets, blockchain infrastructure, artificial intelligence, payments and regulation, with founders and technology companies sharing the event with investors and policymakers.
For Swiss FinTech Association, working outside Switzerland is already part of the brief. The organisation says it collaborates with international partners to connect the Swiss fintech sector with other markets. Its network partnerships are open to international peer organisations, universities, public bodies and non-profits, with exchanges of information and joint projects among the stated areas of cooperation.
AIBC has been adding similar industry organisations to its international network during 2026. FinTech Alliance PH joined ahead of AIBC Asia in Manila, while Dutch Blockchain Week later partnered with AIBC around its Amsterdam programme.
Rome gives the Swiss association another international setting for that work. It also places its finance and policy background alongside a programme where regulation is already taking up considerable room. AIBC has confirmed participation from regulators and policy specialists, while its November agenda includes discussion around crypto, AI and the infrastructure now being built around digital assets.
AIBC World will run at Fiera Roma from 02 to 05 November 2026, alongside SiGMA World and the wider programme of events taking place in Rome that week. Secure your tickets now.
Swiss FinTech Association sits at the meeting point between finance, technology and policy in Switzerland. The non-profit organisation works with people from across the sector, from startups and investors to academics and regulators, and has built much of its activity around advocacy, industry exchange and links with fintech communities outside the country.
AIBC is where much of SiGMA Group’s emerging-tech coverage and events activity comes together. Blockchain, AI, digital assets and new technology businesses sit at the centre of its programme, which brings companies, investors, policymakers and founders into the same room across events in several international markets.
