AIBC has announced its collaboration with DEVCON, the Philippines’ largest voluntary tech community, ahead of its Manila roadshow event, AIBC Asia.
The collaboration will see both parties come together to promote the conference, which will bring together key players in AI, blockchain, and emerging tech in the region.
AIBC Asia will take place between May 31st and June 3rd at the SMX Convention Centre, ahead of the brand’s flagship event in Rome later this year.
The SMX convention centre – the largest of its kind in the Philippines – will play host to more than 300 exhibitors, over 250 speakers and a staggering 16,000 delegates – all of which will be discussing the latest in AI, blockchain, crypto and emerging technologies.
The event is also expected to be attended by senior executives and government leaders keen to discuss initiatives in the industry as the region looks to grow its digital economy. This places AIBC Asia as the place to be to meet and network with innovators and policymakers, and globally respected institutions.
For 16 years, DEVCON Philippines has been empowering IT students and professionals nationwide through a strong network of 11 chapters and inclusive programs, fostering growth and collaboration. From kids to educators and women in tech, their focus is on creating a technology-empowered Philippines for all.
“Partnering with largest volunteer community DEVCON is a natural fit for AIBC,” AIBC Managing Director Olga Yaroshevsky said. “As an events brand, we are naturally community driven. DEVCON’s priority to empower people is exactly the kind of grassroots energy that will power the future of blockchain, AI, and emerging technologies. We have been truly impressed by the impact that they create in their region and hope to continue our collaboration during events globally in the future.”
Visitors to AIBC Asia can look forward to a mix of high‑level panels, industry awards, and discussions driven by bold ideas and breakthrough innovation.
A strong focus will be placed on regulation, leadership, and inclusivity. Key sessions include the panel How Women Leaders are Shaping Digital Regulation and Tech Policy in the Philippines and the ASEAN Region, alongside The People’s Perspective: Impact of Regulation on Innovation, Consumers, and Businesses. Both will offer diverse viewpoints on how policy decisions affect the wider digital ecosystem.
Conversations in the halls are expected to centre on regulatory frameworks, responsible practices, and the realities of operating in newly regulated markets. Blockchain, crypto and AI continue to undergo rapid market transformation, bringing both opportunity and complexity. Because of this, industry gatherings like AIBC Asia play a crucial role in knowledge sharing and partnership building.
Whether attending in person or following developments from afar, the summit offers an unparalleled opportunity to meet innovators shaping the future of the global digital landscape. Join the conversation.
