Imelda “Ida” Tiongson is Ms Ida is a key figure in Ph Fintech and Governance. She has 3 decades experience in Finance and Banking holding senior positions at National Australia Bank and Philippine National Bank. Todate, she is President/Consultant of a multi-billion SPV finance company- Opal Portfolio Investments, in charge of turning around businesses. She also sits as Independent Board Directors to several large and publicly listed companies. In the Blockchain space, apart from being a BCP Trustee and 2023 Blockchain Award Champion, she has been a strong advocate for blockchain use as it is governance by design. She has also been part of the technical working group who drafted on the Revised Corporation Code, Financial Rehabilitation and Insolvency Act, Bayanihan Heal as One Act and Blockchain Bill known as CADENA Bill and other laws concerning Digital.
