In line with a commitment to build global connections and with growing interest in emerging tech markets across Africa, AIBC Summit will hold its inaugural event in Cape Town, South Africa, on March, 22nd, 2022.
SOUTH, WEST, AND EAST
As the geographical, political, and linguistic distinctions reflect considerably on Africa's landscape, we decided to have not one but three host cities. AIBC Africa will rotate every year: in 2022 we're heading to the vibrant city of Cape Town in South Africa for the inaugural summit, AIBC Africa will then fly West to Ghana the following year and in 2024 East to Kenya.
With three major shows in the works, the events are designed to enhance Africa’s high-growth tech industry. AIBC Africa unites the leading minds in this sector for a discussion on regulatory frameworks, economic development and the creation of new opportunities for businesses looking to invest across the continent.
A series of expert-led conferences will bring emerging tech to the fore - revolutionising the way we look at technology, bringing high-end innovation to Africa, and driving sustainable growth throughout its nations. From cryptocurrency regulation to the rise in mobile use, the industry's most creative minds are leading the debate on the AIBC stage with an agenda of thought provoking keynotes and panels.
STANDING FOR QUALITY
The AIBC expo floor brings a carefully curated display of the products and solutions leading the market. This high energy exposition offers a direct line to some of the top brands in the business - making it an ideal place for networking and deal-making opportunities.
In line with a strong interest in Africa for tech and innovation, there is growing value there for companies looking to move into up-and-coming gaming markets - making Africa stand out as a region ripe for investment. Attracting significant interest from stakeholders, this tech-savvy, diverse continent is a hub of opportunity, which is why AIBC is heading there in 2022.
SiGMA ASIA TECH FOCUS
Moving forward all physical events will incorporate a virtual element into the expo, as well as running parallel to SiGMA’s renowned gaming expo. We’re merging two large expos – AIBC and SiGMA– under one roof, pushing boundaries for the two verticals to learn and feed off each other.
