AIBC, the global conference for Web3, AI and emerging tech, hosted a closed‑door industry gathering in Malta on Tuesday, bringing together senior executives from across iGaming, blockchain and fintech as momentum builds ahead of the group’s upcoming international summits in Manila and Rome.

The invitation‑only event, endorsed by Thunderspin and in collaboration with SiGMA, was limited to around 150 attendees and was held at Flo Skypool. The intentionally small format was designed to encourage high‑level discussions and deeper relationship‑building among decision‑makers in the sector ahead of AIBC Asia in May.

The gathering forms part of AIBC’s wider iGathering roadmap, a series of exclusive networking events staged alongside the group’s major conferences. AIBC conferences focus on bridging emerging technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence and digital finance with the growing iGaming industry.

What did attendees say?

Industry participants said the gatherings have become increasingly relevant as gaming companies seek clarity around digital finance, compliance and cross‑border operations and crypto and AI companies seek partners to grow.

“We are here to bridge the gap between traditional finance and the digital ecosystem through our seamless fiat‑to‑stablecoin on/off‑ramp services,” said Canio Telesca, portfolio manager at crypto investment firm G-20 group, attending the Malta event. “I look forward to continuing to connect with industry leaders to discuss how our liquidity solutions can streamline their global operations.”

What is AIBC?

Launched in 2018, AIBC is a platform that bridges the worlds of tech and gaming. The conferences combine panels, keynotes and workshops focused on practical adoption rather than theoretical innovation.

In 2026, AIBC is scheduled to host flagship conferences in Dubai, Manila and Rome, reflecting growing interest from both established gaming jurisdictions and fast‑growing emerging markets in Asia, the Middle East and southern Europe.

What’s next for AIBC?

Looking ahead, AIBC said global summits and iGatherings will continue to focus on networking, innovation and partnerships as the iGaming industry navigates regulatory change and the crypto, blockchain and Web3 space experiences fast technological evolution.

AIBC said its goal remains to position its conferences as platforms not just for deal‑making, but for shaping long‑term strategy in one of the world’s fastest‑evolving digital industries.

As anticipation builds for the next AIBC Summit in Manila, the Flo Skypool Gaming Meetup offered the chance for stakeholders to strengthen relationships and set the tone for the conversations to come. Want to be part of the conversation? Don’t miss out on the summit at the end of May.
