Back in Dubai for its sixth edition, AIBC Eurasia celebrated the success of its first day with an elegant Awards ceremony. Held at the Al Baraha Ballroom in the InterContinental Dubai Festival City, the evening served as an important platform of recognition for some of the leading voices in the sector.

As is tradition, the Awards also played host to a charitable auction in aid of the Foundation, the Group’s charitable arm. An opportunity for delegates to connect more closely to the communities they work alongside, the auction is a powerful call to action to deliver meaningful and impactful change globally – not just within their business verticals, but on a grassroots level to some of the most vulnerable individuals.

The auction, led by Rick Goddard, a long-time ambassador of the Foundation and a tireless champion of its good causes, went on to bring in an impressive xx for. The funds raised will support a number of globally-minded projects, with the year focused on education and healthcare initiatives. In addition to profits from the auction, the Foundation is also supported through ticket sales to the event – a percentage of which are diverted towards the charity.
