More recently through his company Acreditus, Khalid and his partners have invested in numerous startups (biotech, fintech, crypto, islamic) as well as acting as a CEO advisor and Board Member.

In addition to providing various senior workshops for market participants, he has engaged senior stakeholders at forums hosted by the WBG, IMF, IsDB, ECB, IFSB.

Academically he has lectured at London, NOVA (Lisbon), London & Edinburgh Business Schools, New York and Paris-Sorbonne Universities in addition to many conferences globally.

In addition to an extensive library of Moody’s research, he has also authored many articles for numerous finance journals and books across the globe which focus on the credit risk, GCC banks,securitisation, sukuk, Islamic finance, ratings and fintech.
