JP Fabri

JP Fabri is an applied economist and has amassed local and international experience. He formed part of the private office of the former Prime Minister of Malta and Governor of the Central Bank of Malta. He also has international policy advisory experience having been an advisor to 9 governments on economic resilience and good governance. He is also a visiting assistant lecturer at the University of Malta.

JP studied at London School of Economics and Political Science. With distinction he obtained a diploma The political economy of public policy.
Submitted a paper on the role of country size in the provision of public goods.

Since one year, JP is Founding Member at 40under40, it is a community of business leaders with passion, ambition and an innate belief in Malta’s potential. It is a community of thinkers and doers; of achievers and dreamers; of risk-takers and of responsible individuals. Coming together, these business leaders will be working on a long-term vision for the island focusing on the economy, well-being, education and the environment.

Moreover, JP is a Visiting Assistant Lecturer at The University of Malta. Lectures both undergraduate and postgraduate credits with the Department of Economics and Department of Public Policy in the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy; the Faculty of Social Wellbeing and the Faculty for the Built Environment.

JP is also Non Executive Director at Beacon Media Group. It is a proactive and dynamic media service provider. Using cutting-egde technology combined with a fierce regard for truth, fairness and accuracy, the group spreads its message across the portal Newsbook.com.mt, the national station 103 (previously RTK) set up in 1992, and the audio-visual production company ‘Media Centre’.

In addition, he is Member of Investment Migration Council, is the worldwide association for investor immigration and citizenship-by-investment, bringing together the leading stakeholders in the field and giving the industry a voice.

He is currently a Partner at Seed since almost two years.

AIBC brought together the pioneers of a bright new age of emerging technology ready, able and willing to be the vanguard of Tomorrow. Other than just the established names, we also hosted many an entrepreneur seeking to expand the frontiers of AI and the Blockchain ever forward.

Finally, Med-Tech World united the medical professionals of many disciplines to combine their keen minds and inexhaustible passion for a better tomorrow with the entrepreneurial spirit of investors who also dream of a world free from disease and cancer.

The Week also saw many a networking dinner, speaking panel, drink gatherings and other opportunities for our hard-working delegates to unwind. A few highlights include the awards that congratulated those whose dedication, skill and acumen made them a leading figure in their industry as well as the fact that the conferences where graced by titans such as John Karony, Nolan Bushnell, Djibril Cissé, Akon and Mark Blandford who was awarded an Outstanding Contribution of the Year award for his pioneering work in the iGaming industry.
