Alex Vavilov

 

He obtained a bachelor’s degree of International Economics, Management and Finance, Economics from The Università Bocconi. He also holds a master’s degree focus on Finance and General from IE Business School. The Master in Finance has been consistently ranked in the top 4 by the Financial Times´ Global Masters in Finance rankings in the past four years. It is also ranked No.1 worldwide by eFinancialCareers, a ranking that measures the number of students who got jobs in top investment banks.

 

He has six experiences as Intern. For example, he was Intern at Pictet Group. At Pictet’s Singapore office, he rotated across different divisions of the bank including equity research, fixed income, trading, alternative investments and relationship management. While shadowing different employees he learned more about private wealth management, and the differences in culture of a privately owned bank.

 

In 2014, he was Vice President at Bocconi Students Investment Club. As the acting Vice President of BSIC,his responsibilities included aiding the president in the running the club and managing the technical side of itsoperations. He also contributed to the club by writing articles on recent Corporate Finance and M&A deals (published weekly at www.bsic.it) and by participating in the organization of club conferences and events.

 

In 2017, he was Financial Analyst at Private Equity. Worked for two GPs in Asia and the Middle-East : Prepared presentations and offering memoranda for potential Chinese and Russian limited partners, Managed roadshow events in Korea, Singapore and Russia, Performed analysis of potential investment geographies, industries and targets and Led on-site due diligence of a large mining company.

In 2019, he was Investment Analyst during one year and then he was Investment Manager.

He is currently Investment Director in this company since seven months. iTech Capital, is an innovative private equity and venture capital investment manager. The group has been investing in successful businesses building new internet technology continually since 2010.
